OUR STORY
IN 1853
The White family and a large number of Anglo-German immigrants crossed the ocean to South Australia and founded this romantic place full of fantasy and hope. On arrival they began the cultivation and fermenting of wine grapes.
The Southern Fleurieu wine region has been cutivated for more than a century and cared for by generations, and is known for its beautiful scenery, pure and pristine environment and high-quality wines.
In 1989
In the core high-quality production area of Fleurieu, after several zpasture shaped land like a cornucopia. The hard work had begun on the road for more than 20 years of refining every part of the winery to bring about what we have now, a wonderful essence of a classic South Australian winery with classic Southern Fleurieu wines.
IN 2013
Tod and Suzanne Warmer, long-time bankers, gave up their busy city life and chose to return to nature. They came to MT JAGGED winery with their reverence and love for wine. With their own hands-on business philosophy and management methods they gave the best care to the winery and the best offered wonderful experiences for their guests.
In May 2019
The winery was acquired by AZG Group and became the first winery brand under AZG Group. ln the vineyard, it is more important to be on time than to be perfect Adhering to the original intention of being careful to advocating a care and love of nature, we shuttle between vineyards and oak barrels day after day. Starry night picking, hand-picking, careful sorting, professional vinification, detailed fermentation and consistently making the right arrangements and decisions at the right time.
