The 2022 release from Mt Jagged shows Cabernet at its elegant best. Aromas of cassis, blueberry and mulberry lift with violet, bay leaf and a hint of cedar. The palate is medium-bodied and focused—pure black fruit framed by fine, graphite-like tannins and lively natural acidity. Oak sits in the background, adding subtle spice and shape. Classically styled, savoury and food-friendly, it finishes long, cool and composed.
