Shaped by Mt Jagged’s breezy, elevated site, the 2022 Shiraz is fragrant, poised and beautifully detailed. Blackberry, blueberry and dark plum aromas mingle with violet, black pepper, star anise and a hint of cocoa. The palate is medium-bodied and silky—pure dark fruit carried by bright acidity and fine, graphite-like tannins. Oak sits in support, adding gentle spice and polish. Vibrant now and built for the table, it finishes long, cool and savoury.
