The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon from Mt Jagged leans into purity and finesse. Aromas of cassis, blueberry and mulberry rise with violet, bay leaf and a hint of cedar. The palate is medium-bodied and focused—blackcurrant and dark plum gliding over fine, graphite-like tannins and vibrant natural acidity. Oak is discreet, adding polish and spice without heaviness. Poised, savoury and food-friendly with a cool, long finish.
